Program Description: The KEF USA’s Professional and Academic English Program immerses students in culture and language experienced in academic and professional environments. This is an intensive, 4-week program developed for international students who will attend graduate programs in the US or require English in a professional capacity. This program is composed of 4 parts.

​

Part 1. Intensive English Program (IEP) (22.5 Hours Per Week)

​

Classes will focus on accent, pronunciation, and fluidity among other things. They are accredited by CEA and may include computerized language lab time.  The program uses a variety of professional and academic content as the basis for English language classes. PAEP is designed for students who have a high level of English proficiency.

 

Part 2. A program (10 Hours Per Week)  students develop the following skill areas:

• Giving professional oral presentations

• Expanding reading strategies

• Expanding listening comprehension

• Strengthening speaking skills and fluency

• Strengthening writing skills and fluency

• Exploring the interaction of language and culture

• Enhancing academic communication skills

Part 3. Enriching Experiences by Visiting Places That Can Only Be Found in Florida.

​

Land in Miami, Florida  for a city tour that includes a South Beach stop and head to Orlando in the afternoon. The calendar of activities also includes visits to Florida universities, Kennedy Space Center (NASA), the Dali Museum in Tampa, Florida, Indoor Skydiving, Top-Golf Experience, nightlife, shopping, and many area attractions.

Part 4. A Complete Disney World Vacation - During the 50th Anniversary!

Over 78 million visitors come to the "Fun Capital of the World" to enjoy its world-famous attractions. Be a child at the Magic Kingdom. At EPCOT Center you can take a glimpse into the wonders of tomorrow at Future World and spend the day traveling to 11 countries at the World Showcase. At Hollywood Studios step into exhilarating attractions like Star Wars, live action shows and adventures await you. Enjoy the Animal Kingdom while going on a safari to explore the African savanna, discover Pandora - The World of Avatar, and enjoy the spectacular musical show Festival of the Lion King. Included are Universal Studios Theme Parks, Seaworld and a long list of attractions.
